Also selling my R3 9m. I replaced it with an R3X. Slightly longer lines on the R3 make it wicked fun for swoops with a long recovery arc. Heavier fabric will also last longer. Previous owner’s custom colors are sooooo sick and I will miss them dearly. I’m the second owner of this wing, and I put a few hundred flights on it. The previous owner had only done ~150 flights. ~98% of the total flights were on snow. This wing has been flown quite a bit, but has lots of life left. All of my flights on it were in the span of 2 months this winter, and I dried it every night and took great care to always pack the ribs aligned and handle it gently. It’s never been crashed, never needed any repairs, and the fabric is still crispy and nonporous. Generally there are very few signs of wear. There risers are in great shape, with some slight signs of use on the trims, but they are still totally bomber with the thicker nylon. It has sheathed lines. ~50 flights ago, I replaced the left brake toggle line as shown in the pictures. This was carefully measured and in flight you can’t tell the difference. The right toggle line is still totally sound, but will probably benefit from being replaced somewhat soon. This wing will be in Lauterbrunnen until August 29, and then I go back to USA. Voir moins
